Tax law raises many challenging legal issues that may have considerable economic impact for our clients. Our tax law expertise is particularly developed to assist the energy sector, a sector with specific tax arrangements differentiating from the ordinary corporate tax regime. Partners Caroline Lund and Stein Erik Stinessen were members of the Energy Tax Committee in 1992 (NOU (Official Norwegian Reports) 1992: 34) and together published the book ‘Taxation of energy companies’.
